Video: Simple Steps for Buying a Home.
I don’t really get the mindset that buying a home is complicated, overwhelming or stressful. As with anything you do, if you’re well informed and updated along the way, the process is no more problematic for either buyers or sellers, than a day at work might be.
Yes, this is a big investment. Yes, there is a necessary procedure. And yes, a move will change your life. But if your agent is doing their job, all your concerns will be address, your questions will be answered, and anything with the potential to be overwhelming will be broken down into a manageable timeline.
If your agent insists that a Real Estate transaction is complicated, then insist that they explain it in a way that makes sense to you… simple as that.

Welcome to Today’s Home Update, I’m Edwardo.
If you’re ready to jump off of the sidelines and into the housing market, the following steps will make the home buying process a little easier to navigate.
First, you’ll need a reputable Real Estate Agent to help you identify the best home for you. An experienced agent will save you time, money and stress.
Second, know your credit score. Don’t wait til you find a house to learn that your credit isn’t good enough to secure the necessary mortgage. If there are any errors within your credit report, get them fixed immediately.
Next, once you find a mortgage that fits your needs, get a pre-approval letter so Sellers know you’re serious. You don’t want someone else to swoop in with a bid while you’re waiting for financing.
Next, assemble a team. In addition to an agent, you should also have a lawyer, mortgage lender and home inspector on hand.
Finally, don’t settle. Keep searching for your dream home. Even if you have to make concessions, make sure it’s a house you can see yourself living in for a decade or more.
