Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema gets our Thank You Thursday nod for her work with Veterans

We live just outside Arizona Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema’s district but that doesn’t stop her from making a huge impact here.

I subscribe to her newsletter and am connected on social media, and I can’t help but notice that more often than not, Ms. Sinema is honoring or working with Military folks and Veterans. As a matter of fact she is such a driving force for Military member recognition and Veteran services reform throughout the state and in Washington DC, that news stories about Veterans or Military are very often accompanied by her pleasantly smiling image.

Congresswoman Sinema’s most recent newsletter prompted this Thank You Thursday acknowledgment. She recently backed the bipartisan DOD Appropriations Act giving our troops a 2.7% raise… this just weeks after denouncing any raise for Congress. In Ms. Sinema’s words, “As a member of a military family, I believe that doing our part to support our active duty military and veterans is one of the most important obligations we have as Americans.”

Though we don’t live in her district, Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema get’s our vote for Thank You Thursday recipient today. We Thank You Congresswoman Sinema, for all that you do with such caring and kindness, your sense of duty and commitment, and your ever present smile.
