San Tan Valley – A study conducted, and published by Nerd Wallet, ranked San Tan Valley as the second best place in Arizona for home-ownership. The study pulled data from the US Census from July 1, 2010 to July 1, 2013 analyzing three specific questions: Are homes available? Can you afford to live there? Is the area growing? San Tan Valley was reported to have the highest population growth on NerdWallet’s list with over 20% growth during the study. Although San Tan Valley is technically not an incorporated city, we have certainly become more than a blip on the radar. This type of continued growth, means more local businesses, more local jobs, which leads to a sustainable local economy. Also mentioned was our neighbors to the West, Queen Creek, AZ.
