I know there are a lot of surveys and comparisons out there, and we are all aware that information is often manipulated. Having said that, I’m thinking it can’t be a mistake that several Arizona cities keep popping up on the positive side of so many studies.

And here we are again! Gilbert, Chandler, and Scottsdale, are all among the TOP 15 thriving cities in the US. Top 15 !! That’s huge! And Gilbert even made it to #8. The study is published here, the on-line home of Newsweek Magazine, The Daily Beast.

Criteria for inclusion was tough (nothing froufrou like the most dog parks or the friendliest super market staff); population growth, employment and earnings, market strength, infrastructure, and intellectual capital were the benchmarks.

Other top 20 cities include Irvine & San Jose CA, Orlando FL, Austin TX, Boston MA, and Minneapolis MN. Wow… Scottsdale, Chandler, and Gilbert! By comparison we are fairly small in size but giants by association. It must take very careful planning and brilliant forethought and to stay so consistently among the best. I think we should be very proud of our communities.
