Alright, I’ll admit it… I am a huge fan of Amazon. My theory on shopping is “The cart never stops”. I can cover your typical grocery store in 8 minutes flat and be out the door in less than 10. I’ve determined that I have inner radar that seeks out the fastest checkout line, and I am, at all times, acutely aware of my distance from the nearest exit. If you hate shopping as much as I do, you’ve gotta love Amazon. Fast, convenient, everything all in one place, no exit cognizance necessary. There’s almost nothing you can’t find on Amazon and I have a hunch that if I suggested they were missing something they’d get it. They know me now.

So here’s yet another reason to love Amazon. They’re hiring! Big time! Not just a handful jobs, this is news on major networks. According to this mornings broadcast they’re hiring up to 7000 employees nationwide. CNN Money reports the jobs are full-time, permanent, and include stock grants (stock in Amazon could not be an insignificant thing), and in some cases even tuition reimbursement.

Phoenix has a sizable distribution center. I’m sure this is GREAT news for Phoenix. This distribution center is very likely where my Amazon orders come from, they will without a doubt, be hiring!!
