“It’s awesome, it puts your faith back in humanity”. These are the heartfelt words of Reggie Henderson, a formerly homeless Army Veteran who, along with his dog, has been staying in a Phoenix transitional residence while he finds work and a permanent place to live.

After months of planning and preparation, a large group of volunteers from Home Depot and HandsOn Greater Phoenix, spent a day renovating the U.S. Vets Transitional Housing facility, inside and out.
All materials, not to mention the time and effort, were donated by HandsOn Greater Phoenix, a non-profit that according to their mission statement “… puts volunteers to work where they are needed most”, and by Home Depot. Home Depot regularly supports Veterans nationwide, through their Celebration of Service program.
Today’s Thank You Thursday honors HandsOn Greater Phoenix and Home Depot for their immense generosity and their great kindness… know that you are appreciated!
And as always, to all of our military Veterans, we Thank You for your service.
