Each of these kitchens is indeed unusual but I think that other than their made-you-look qualities, they have little to recommend them practicality-wise. For the most part, storage in these spaces is limited by the actual design or perhaps a lack of forethought. I do love the idea of the one kitchen that is open to an atrium with a swimming pool, but seriously, how rational is that really… neither thought, of my kitchen smelling like chlorine or my pool smelling like lasagna, holds any appeal for me.
