Getting a home inspection in advance is something that I often suggest is NOT a good idea for Home Sellers, but there is certainly the rare case or two when it might be helpful. That’s just one of the many situations noted in this video, when a Realtor might be essential to the sale of your home.
For your convenience, there is a transcript of this video below.
Video Transcript: Selling your home? Do you need to hire a Realtor?
Welcome to today's home update I'm Julia. Every seller wants their home to sell for the best price, and according to Texas Realtor Kimberly Nicole only a qualified real estate professional can make that happen. As Nicole explains, a Realtor knows how to navigate the selling process and is well versed on the latest regulations to ensure you meet all requirements, and nothing compares to a Realtor's knowledge of the local area. A Real Estate professional will know your neighborhood's property values and market fluctuations in order to price your property competitively. A Realtor will also know just how to prepare and stage your property for listing. He or she will be able to advise you on any necessary repairs or arrange for an inspection to assess the condition of your home. Once your home is listed a Realtor is able to expose your listing across multiple channels to reach the widest audience of potential buyers. Perhaps most importantly a Realtor will be able to negotiate for you and evaluate offers. And no one can guide you through the closing process like a Realtor can. So be sure to enlist a Realtor when the time comes to put your home up for sale. Thanks for watching Today's Home Update. See you next time!
