Children playing at Gilbert's Water Ranch Riparian Preserve

Gilbert, Arizona maintains coveted position on Safest Cities list.

I can personally attest to Gilbert’s ubiquitous appeal. Gilbert, Arizona is an eclectic Phoenix Metro Suburb with a rich and charming history, a deep sense of community and an energizing contemporary flavor. I’ve lived here nearly 15 years, and having moved here from the frozen north I can tell you, I experienced exactly zero culture-shock. Gilbert is welcoming and inclusive, comfortable and industrious, a wonderful place to live and a great place to do business.

Gilbert’s website displays an extensive list of Awards & Recognition including:

Best City for Raising a Family (Move.org, 2016)

Top 10 Cleanest Cities in America (Expedia, 2016)

7th Happiest City in America (Zippia, 2016)

Best City for Working Parents (NerdWallet/Business Insider, 2014)

Gilbert Among Nations Fastest Growing Communities (Arizona Republic, 2014)

Top Places in the Nation to Live and Learn (GreatSchools.org, 2010)

And most recently, for the second year in a row, Gilbert has maintained it’s standing as LawStreet Media’s 2nd Safest City in the United States. Not an easy get! Gilbert Mayor John Lewis is quoted on the website as saying “The dedication of our terrific police department along with the support from our residents and businesses contribute to making Gilbert a safe atmosphere for all to enjoy.” I for one can confirm that he is absolutely right.

Congratulations to Gilbert, to our committed Law Enforcement and Firefighters, our caring citizens and volunteers, and to the city officials and staff members who work so hard every day to preserve Gilbert’s exceptional quality of life.
