The ‘Let Joe Know’ segment on ABC15 in Arizona is always informative and entertaining. This time Joe visited a funeral home that kept a Veteran’s body on ice for 3 months, only burying him after being called out by ABC15. This was both very sad and so disrespectful. ~Bill

How long is too long to be buried after you die? A week? A month?
For one Phoenix war vet, it took a very long time. That’s the despite the best efforts of Lorrie Fullmer.
“I just want to see him buried and I don’t understand why they’re taking so long to do that,” Lorrie tells me.
Two months after his death, he still hadn’t been buried.
“They told me that he was on ice. They said they’ve got him in a refrigeration unit,” she said.
While there is no state law saying when a body has to be buried or cremated, Lorrie thinks two months is too long.
“I’m astonished about it. I don’t care about the money. I care about getting him buried. That’s my big concern,” she said. – read complete transcript –
