AZVHV is Honoring Our Heroes: Police Officers

May is the month when we as a nation, honor our heroes. It’s National Military Appreciation Month. May also includes week long commemorations to honor Teachers, Nurses, Firefighters, Police Officers, and Veterans. Though the Your Valley Property Team takes part in our nation’s expression of gratitude each year during the month of May, we continue to honor our heroes throughout the entire year through our AZVHV Heroes program.

This year, National Police Week runs from May 14 to the 20th and includes Police Officers Memorial Day on May 15th, paying respect to those officers who have given their lives in the line of duty. Our Law Enforcement heroes are so much more than the men and women in uniform that we glimpse from a distance every day. Police Officers mediate domestic disputes, provide emergency assistance at crash sites, patrol and protect our borders, fight drug and human trafficking, keep our kids safe at school, safeguard our prisons… indeed, our Police Officer’s responsibilities are incredibly wide-ranging and the majority of their achievements are carried out with little fanfare or even acknowledgement.

For those of you who’s job it is to, quite literally put your life on the line, to all of the honorable Police Officers who care enough to make this your life’s work, we Thank You! We appreciate you! You are in our thoughts, not just during this National Police Week but every single day of the year.
