We made our home in New Hampshire for 15 years so we know first hand, the down-home goodness of the folks who live there.
Tom Arnold of Concord is clearly one of those people. He owns a local burger joint called Arnie’s Place. Just before Christmas, with 100 trees remaining on his lot, the thoughtful Mr. Arnold left for the night after placing an offer below his sign “Free Trees Until Daylight”. As he was leaving, Mr. Arnold recognized a disabled Veteran and his wife choosing a tree. Another local resident expressed her gratitude in a note saying she would now be able to afford something for under the tree. The Christmas trees were gone in the morning but Mr. Arnold’s Facebook page was filled with thank you messages from grateful Concord residents.
On this Thank You Thursday we’d like to add our Thanks, Mr. Arnold, and wish you a a peaceful and very prosperous, Happy New Year.
