I was previously unaware of these facts and since reading Sheri’s post, can’t seem to get this out of my mind. With great difficulty Sheri researched and verified the data. I find it disturbing that these numbers are not readily available. Don’t you agree that as a nation we should be ashamed of not addressing, and in fact, of trying to hide this issue? On a more personal level, my eyes have certainly been opened. This is something I know I can never un-see! I’m not sure yet how I can be a part of the solution, but I come in contact with a lot of Veterans in my profession and I know my eyes will now remain wide opened.
